On Thursday, April 26, 2007, at a private, invitation-only gala, “The NSU Glass Garden” by Dale Chihuly was unveiled at the atrium of the Alvin Sherman Library.
On April 27th, the public was invited to come to the Alvin Sherman Library to view and enjoy this beautiful one-of-a-kind glass sculpture and “Celebrate Chihuly at NSU.”
The celebration included a variety of programs and events for art lovers of all ages including glassblowing demonstrations, our art exhibit in the gallery, art and craft projects, storytimes, and more. It was lots of fun!
