The Czech Art Festival was founded by Marcela Kotrčová in 2005. Marcela is currently living in Miami where she is persuing her degree in Marketing at Florida International University.
Marcela has visited numerous Fine Art Fairs in the USA. However these shows only invite commercial galleries, therefore she created event that would be suitable for artists too. Czech Art Festival was first fine art event in the Czech Republic designed to have artists directly meet and sell their artwork to the public. The show held in Convention Center of České Budějovice on December has drawn artists from Czech Republic, Germany and other European Countries.
